Crew Challenge 178 - Bandito Time

Who's the fastest driving one of the new remote control cars? A solo challenge doing a 2 lap race rather than fastest lap. Customs off just incase any of the mods could make a difference.

• track : RC - Air Traffic Control
  • this is a Rockstar race so you can start via the in-game menu
    • found with the Stunt races
• time for a 2 lap race
• customs off
• non-contact if racing with other people
• other settings up to you

You could skip out, or accept the challenge and get busy.

Its great one can see everyones progress with R1 before the race, even if i think there is a delay in the updated.

Thank you for this...I was going to put one together cause man, dropping from the clouds every time you want to attempt it was brutal. Now the challenge isn't your two fastest laps but two consecutive laps, correct? Just need some clarification. Thanks.

Yes, fastest total time in a race with two laps (default). No slipstream or catch up or custom cars.

Whenever I get online, I'll try and set a good total time and upload the video so you guys can see what the best racing lines are to take, then we'll all improve on that throughout the week.

Not hitting stuff, and cutting corners close will shave off 10 sec. But to do that for two laps... Ran it alot this afternoon and finally got sub 4:10 on the race.

With jobs like this be sure to start from an invite only session. The games terrible setup doesn't have to match you up with a new session once you select freemode. That eliminates any cloud simulator and drops you right back into your private session. You can bounce back and forth with nearly zero waiting

@Manny_AKA_Yolo thats a freaking great execution! Looking at your laps and comparing to my own laps i can see where i can improve. Easy to say, hard to put it all together of course. I was surprised how hard one can cut the CP’s in these races, much like going high on air races. I still let go of the gas at the “hairpin” because i tend to mess up the “exit”.
