How do I join Domestic Battery?

1 post in this topic

Welcome to Domestic Battery!

Here at XDBX we're pretty particular in the types of members we're looking for. We're looking for fun people who enjoy everything the game has to offer and not just one specific aspect of the game. We don't care what level you are or where you're from, what we do care about is whether or not you're a team player and a mature gamer.

We're a casual group who enjoy all this game has to offer as well as socializing and networking with like-minded individuals. At our core we uphold key values such as respect and integrity, as well as cherishing people from different backgrounds with different perspectives.

Clean and mature gaming is one of the key values of our crew. We all like to mess around and have fun with one another, but we respect each others gaming experience. This means we don't use dirty tactics or grieve each other, and we're supportive of fellow crew members.

We don't use or accept anyone involved in modding, hacking, or glitching. If this is you, then you needn't read any further. If you join and are kicked for modding, hacking, or glitching, there will be no second chances. You will not be accepted into Domestic Battery!

NO MODDED ACCOUNTS!

How to join Domestic Battery
Before you take your first steps to becoming a member of Domestic Battery, please make sure you've taken the time to read the crew policies and guidelines.

Once you've read the crew policies and guidelines you'll need to create an account and post an introduction.

Be sure to answer the following questions in you introduction:

  1. What time zone are you active in? (Ex. East Coast of the US GMT -5)
  2. What are some of your goals/reasons for joining a crew?
  3. Our tags must remain active during vetting, can you abide by this? (Afterwards you can swap at will but we should be your primary)
  4. Will you be able to attend at least 1 event or game with the crew once per week, and visit out site frequently?

After you've posted an introduction and answered the questions above, a member of the vetting team will send an invite and your site status will be upgraded to "Unvetted Member" (this will be done when staff are available to do so).

Note: You will need to have your RSC profile set to visible before receiving an invite. This includes making game stats visible for the duration of your vetting period.

The Vetting Process
We have the vetting process in order to make sure we get quality, fun members. You don't have to be an all star player, racer, shooter, etc.....your level doesn't matter to us. We want good attitudes and mature players.

Our vetting process is a minimum 2 week period from the time you join the crew that will end on the Wednesday following your 2 week start date.

Your vetting may be extended by request due to real life issues (school, work, internet issues, etc..) provided you notify a staff member before your time is up.

  • You are expected to know all the crew policies and guidelines.
  • You must have XDBX set as your active crew for the entire vetting period.
  • Our process requires you to obtain 15 points during your vetting period.
You gain points by attending crew events and/or being "noted" by crew members. Notes are simply posts made by vetted crew members in which they share their experience with you in game. Events are worth 3 points, and a positive note is worth 1 point. A negative note is worth -2 points.

At the end of the vetting period, vetting staff will evaluate your notes before promoting you to "Vetted Member".

As a new member things may seem overwhelming, but once you get into the XDBX way of things it's actually quite easy.

If you have any questions, feel free to send a message to any of our helpful staff.
