Lol. Hell of a question to have to ask less than 24 hours before the event.

I agree, It's possible to create something in that time but cutting it close.

I wouldn't say it would be ovaly difficult

There are some older tracks that were used last year. I know some members are not fond of those tracks but they are better than the nothing we currently have ;)

We could always use an oval that one of the other divisions used.  Some people may have already raced on them, but others haven't.  They're sort of all the same anyway.

I like his idea.

Doesn't matter which track we all run circles around until slipstream determines a winner.

Looking at the ovals we've used so far, can I suggest we use Rockingham Speedway by @Squirrel.  It was used early in the series so it's not like we just ran it last week, and the creator is from a different Division.  The other 3 ovals have been used more recently and 2 of them are from a Crocs creator anyway.

Just my thoughts with not much time left to make a decision. :)

That was going to be my suggestion. R* violently removed me from that race at the halfway point last time.

I missed Rockingham last time, so that would be my choice as well.

You missed a random that loved to hit anyone near him, Parade Laps, my somersault extravaganza and Proto somehow blowing himself up. Lol

@Skorpion points are not correct again. Whoever went in and updated last removed the 9.5 from myself and Sinister from the redneck race we were kicked from. It's not that big of a deal for mine since I am no longer participating but for Sinister it does since he is an actual contender.

I've added the points for the disconnect in rednecks race 2 to the spreadsheet. Haven't updated OP yet though.

Has the track for the next Croc division race been chosen yet? I would like to know what it is at least couple of days in advance so I get chance for practice runs please.

Not yet.  Hatch isn't responding to any of our stick prodding, so I reckon we should just choose one ourselves.  While we're at it, we might as well choose a GTA race for the final Rednecks race too, as that one hasn't been specified either.

If we follow the same guidelines as the other races, then it should be a track made by someone who's not in that particular division.

The Crocs race should probably be a proper street race, (not a click together stunt track) to match the 5th race for the other two divisions.

I'll have a look through the list later today and nominate a track.  If everyone else does the same, we can then vote on one or just come to some mutual agreement on which one to use.

Just thinking about it again.  Maybe we should go with a familiar race that most of us know, and we know will be suitable.

Perhaps something like Elevation Street, Clappers Street Circuit (daytime for once ) or Miami Horror?

For the Redneck GTA race - we did Traffic Jam by Skorpion as a standard race with traffic on in the Reginas today, but it also works really well as a proper GTA race with traffic off.

Elevation Str and Traffic Jam (with traffic off) both good for me.

Only slight possible issue, we did Elevation Str as a recent crew challenge, could that give those who did the challenge an advantage? I think probably not, it's a well known track.

So Miami Horror then ? Wasn't it featured in BACCAR 2 or 1 already ?

Everyone will be praticing as usual so it shouldn't be a problem.

I'm guessing we'll be going with the Elevation street tomorrow then? Someone already put it as a 5th Croc race in the results, so I'll take that as a hint.

Or have you decided on something else?

I hope it's Elevation street as well, no time to practice any other track at this late stage.

A race I made ages ago for use in the snow, recently updated.
P2P downhill from the Observatory to LSIA in Golf Cart.
To ensure customs are off and only the Golf Cart can be picked, switch classes to sports, turn customs off then switch back to utility.
I wouldn't really recomend doing this in sports, they will probably be too fast for some of the jumps. The sports option is there purely to get around the bug that does not let us properly lock races to a single vehicle

[ DiRT Rally is on sale on the UK/EU PS Store for £12.49 until December 23! ]

"DiRT Rally is the most authentic, challenging and thrilling rally game ever made, road-tested over 80 million miles by the DiRT community. It captures the essence of what makes rally unique like no other game: that white knuckle feeling of racing on the edge; trying to remain in control of your emotions as you hurtle along dangerous, undulating roads at breakneck speed, aiming to squeeze everything out of your car whilst knowing that one crash could irreparably harm your stage time.
It’s the ultimate test of a driver’s skill, and the ultimate in high risk, high reward gameplay.
The first time you play DiRT Rally may be a little daunting. Not many drivers finish their first race without a crash, and even fewer will win their first event. The game is designed from the ground up to be an authentic simulation of real world rally. The good news for you is, real world driving techniques are applicable to every section of every stage in the game.
A better understanding of rally driving techniques will lead you to become naturally faster as you gain confidence and understanding of the car you are driving and the surfaces that you are driving on. It is much easier to add speed to a good technique."
Couldn't have said it better myself. Long story short: DiRT Rallly is probably the best rally racing simulation game out there. Brilliant mechanics and physics, beautiful graphics, great collection of iconic rally cars of past and present, plenty of different locations and game modes. Even the best racers can often make mistakes in rally and that's the beauty of the sport.

      Available Rally Types:
      Rally
      Hillclimb
      Rallycross

      Game Modes:
      Championships (SP career)
"Start out at the bottom and work your way to the top of the rally world. Hire a crew chief and engineers to build your competitive edge as you race the most iconic cars from rally history across the rally, hillclimb and rallycross disciplines."

      Online Events
"Take on the DiRT Rally community via Daily, Weekly and Monthly RaceNet challenges to earn in-game currency rewards or take to the track in online multiplayer rallycross races."
The online challenges are a great way to try out different vehicles in different locations and in different conditions.

      Leagues
"Get together with friends and run your very own racing league, or join an existing one within the vibrant DiRT Rally community. You can join as many leagues as you like and they are fully customisable all the way down to the weather conditions."
This is the mode we could make the most use of on the crew scale, organise crew rally championships.
      XDBX DiRT Rally League: https://www.dirtgame.com/leagues/league/102999/xdbx-casual

Locations: Monaco, Wales, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Greece, England (RX), Norway (RX), USA (Hillclimb)

Some iconic cars from the game: Mini Cooper S, Renault Alpine A110, Ford Escort MK II, Lancia Stratos, Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500, Audi Sport quattro Rallye, Peugeot 205 T16 Evo 2, Subaru Impreza 2001, Ford Focus RS Rally 2001, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X, Volkswagen Polo Rally (2010s), Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak, Audi Sport quattro S1 PP

Some official hints and tips for the game: https://www.dirtgame.com/uk/about#hints_tips
The only thing I personally kind of dislike about the game is that you can't drive a specific rally car unless you've purchased it and that process can take a lot of time and trial & error, because earning money is rather slow in the beginning and you don't really know which car suits you best until you've bought them and tried them out. It's a very small issue overall, though.

Verdict: DiRT Rally is a must-have for any true rally fan and rally simulation enthusiast, but if you're a casual gamer and/or mainly an arcade racer just looking to try out rally racing for a change, you should look into getting DiRT 4 instead. There is nothing arcade-y about this DiRT game - it's all about simulating the real thing.

I'm already running an XDBX league in DiRT Rally, so if you have the game, do let me know! Skill level doesn't matter at all, just looking at having a fun time together!

Here's a taste of what the game is like:
